The new rotary switch contacts and wipers on all WW antennas & TCS are "make before break" as opposed to "break before make" giving seamless electrical transition between bands and have a locking locating peg which stops heavy handed users wrenching the switch off its rotational axis and alignment.
- New 1.8m long, heavier duty 9 section telescopic whip available in black or chrome.
- Switch positions reduced from 9 to 8 ( 50 Mhz band no longer relies on a dedicated band position as the new whip is over a 1/4 wave long anyway )

- Improved performance - tests reveal a gain of 2 - 3 "S" points on receive over previous versions that use the old 1.3m whip!
