Full marks to ML&S. I followed your instructions. Using the Kent beacon (GB3VHF) as a standard, measurements (with the case replaced and screwed down) now show that after an hour of monitoring the TS790 frequency is too low by about 50 Hz. The adjustment is very delicate indeed so this is just perfect. Well done.... Regards...John G4KLA

Whilst he won't remember I first met Martin when he worked for Bernie and Brenda at the NEC when I was first licensed at 16 - he sold me one of my first rigs....and then in Ealing Broadway at the start of his first little shop ......alot of water has passed under the bridge since then and I have stood back and watched him create one of the most if not the most sucessful dealerships in the country - well done Martin you deserve it.

Just to thank you yet again for the smooth purchase of a used Yaesu DMU 2000, bargain.

Also thanks for the guys in the workshop who fitted the DMU 2000 board and updated the software on my Yaesu FT2000 while I waited.

I have it all up and running now, what a difference the DMU 2000 makes to the operation of my FT2000 now, excellent.

Hello Martin - This is just some well deserved customer feedback that I am sending you in relation to the ML&S shop.

I recently returned to amateur radio on retirement after a long absence. I also moved from Britain to Southern Ireland).

To get back into the hobby, my first step was to call in to talk to the guys at the shop, This was on one of my occasional trips to the UK in late August 09 and I was welcomed into the shop with a nice hot drink and shown around, and all of my questions were answered and equipment was demonstrated by a very friendly and courteous staff there.

In fact I was so impressed by this that I put in a purchase for a number of items by mail order.

Now, the place I retired from is Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, Galway, and I still do some research supervision there. Subsequently, I was delighted to place another order with ML&S through our technician, Tom Frawley, at GMIT, Dept of Electronic Eng. I believe this order is to be despatched this week.

I have also had occasion to seek the assistance of the workshop at ML&S, and again I have found the guys there to be friendly, courteous and helpful, even for small items.

I used to run licence classes for budding radio amateurs and I hope to take that up again next year. You can be sure that ML&S will be highly recommended by me.

Please pass on my best wishes and thanks to everyone at ML&S - and may they be able to keep up the good work in these difficult times.

I ordered a G5RV for my new home. I installed it and it worked GREAT ! Many DX QSOs in CW... Waiting to try it out during CQ WW CW 09.

Also I just recieved today the SB2000 "magic" interface... Tuned my G5RV on 40m, called CQ in PSK31 and R1ANB replied! Antartica worked on 40m during day, not bad.
