I thought I could email you to thank you for the service offered by your company. The ELAD masthead amplifier is fantastic and well worth the money in my opinion. I live in the Chilterns and before installation I was receiving around 100 aircraft (sometimes less) but now it ranges from 150 - 180 - a vast improvement. All this from an Fixed Site Antenna mounted on a pole in my roof space. Aircraft are received as far north as Liverpool and Jersey in the South.From my local airport (Heathrow) I now receive down to 150 feet.

Thanks once again and I would recommend your company in the future.

Thank you for the swift delivery of my Yaesu FT-1000D. 16 years old but like NEW. Added surprise of being fully filtered which you knew about but was an excellent bonus when on CW.

This is just a note to thank you for the very efficient delivery of the SBS-1. I connected this up,pure magic!! I have been listening in and spotting for 45 years. We lived near Manchester (Heald Green), caught the bug then. No air band here, so I have been out on a limb for the last 8 years. Saw and identified a Virgin 747 en route to Orlando from Gatwick, wonderful. Plenty of over flights here, I can now resume my long lost hobby.

Thanks again. I'll be back for a better antenna, when I work out where to put it.

Dear Robin,

Very many thanks for all your help and assistance with the above. It is all working perfectly - I deleted all the listed ports (1-16) and then put the Icon on port 10 and after a bit of fiddling it burst into life.

I can't say how much of a relief it has given me and the packaging we spoke about is winging its way back to you all safely wrapped, etc.

The Amp so far is very impressive, does everything you said it would, the pre-amp works better than expected. The 10m band opened up and I had my very own pile up (cos they could hear me ). Hi Robin,

Many thanks for the info about the LDG FT-Meter. I ordered one and it arrived last week. I am delighted with the meter and all the functions available from the menu, much easier to see what is happening with an analogue meter of a decent size and as I use my Yaesu FT-857 as a base station it will remain connected all the time.

The Yaesu FT-857 is a fine piece of equipment with a brilliant receiver, and now that I am familiar with the menu system, I can't praise it enough. I hear many people saying that they dislike the modern menu driven radios, but that is the future like it or not, and I'm all for it.

Further to my telecon this afternoon with Robin: many thanks for the replacement which arrived this afternoon. I set it up quickly, linked to my FT-840, and am pleased to report that it is working well on all bands, including 80m. I've just had a successful QSO on 17m with WD8CCC, and found the preamp very helpful.

Again I find myself writing to you all on the excellent service your company has provided after my used purchase in March of my FT-1000MkV Field.

I found myself a month ago contacting you with regard to a fault. The service from you was again second to none, the radio was quickly collected and in your workshops within one day.

Martin Lynch as a company never failed to up-date me on what was happening and the radio was returned under warranty in perfect working condition as promised.

The commitment from your company for after-sales was the best yet to experience. When you get service like your company obviously pride themselves in, it makes things very easy for people like me where to spend their money on the next purchase.

I have just set up the FT2000D and it is performing better than I was expecting. The receive seems to be better than my old FT2000 and the extra 100W does make a difference when used bare foot.

Rang at 1535 on Thursday 9th.August to express my interest in a secondhand TS-870. I asked for an opinion on the condition of the radio and Martin came back with 'very good except for a cracked knob at the top RHS'. Martin offered to replace the knob once they received them from Kenwood, so I decided to buy the radio. Five minutes later I received a text message saying that they had found two knobs and replaced both.

The radio arrived at 0735 this morning and it is in excellent condition just as Martin described. I am really pleased with my purchase and with the brilliant service from ML&S.
