Time was, 100 watts was a lot of power. Today, more and more transceivers feature 200 watts output. Even though many of these modern radios feature a built-in tuner, it's range and features are usually quite limited; if you need a tuner, you probably need a better one than they built into the radio. The LDG AT-200 is designed for this new generation of rig.

This unit has 2 antenna sockets making ideal for use with radios like FT-897/857/IC-7000/IC-706 as it solves the HF/6m antenna problem. When used with a 6/2 & 70cm antenna and the MX-62 you will still have an HF socket free.

Many QRP operators have a small 100-150 watt amplifier for times when you need a few more S-units. The AT-200 is ideal for this kind of operation; it's minimum required power is only 5 watts, but it will handle the higher power as well.

The AT-200 will handle up to 250 watts SSB or CW on 1.8 30 MHz, and 100 watts on 54 MHz. It features LDG's state-of-the-art, processor-controlled Switched-L tuner. It will match virtually any kind of coax-fed antenna, including Yagis, dipoles, inverted Vs, slopers, loops, just about anything. It will typically match a 10:1 SWR down to 1.5:1 in just a few seconds. You can also use the AT-200 with longwires, random wires and antennas fed with ladder line with the optional LDG balun.

The AT-200 features over 16,000 3D memories, automatically storing tuning data for frequencies and bands as you use them. When you transmit on or near a frequency you've used before, the AT-200 can restore the tuning data almost instantly. It learns as you use it, adapting itself to your operating patterns for faster and faster tuning. The 3D memory system allows up to eight antenna settings to be stored for each frequency.

Operation couldn't be simpler: while transmitting a carrier, just press the Tune button. An automatic tuning cycle will begin, then end a few seconds later with the tuner set at the lowest SWR (almost instant for frequencies stored in memory). Optional interface cables for Icom, Kenwood, Yaesu and Alinco make the entire tuning process a one-button operation.

The AT-200 is the latest in a long line of innovative LDG tuners. Get the most out of your Kenwood, Yaesu, Ten-Tec or Icom radios that operate at higher power

LDG AT-200 pro Nigel 19-12-2015
Bought for HF bay at RNARS shack, HMS Collingwood. An excellent purchase. It is a great piece of equipment, quick to tune and 100% reliable. Would recommend it to anybody and am purchasing another for the Digital bay now as well. Nigel Auckland (M0NAF) Shack Manager
Great little tuner! Stuart 30-05-2015
Bought to go with a new IC7100 that I picked up a few weeks ago and works great. It's super fast at tuning the antenna and really easy to use. I purchased the optional Icom interface cable which means that the tuner is powered from the radio. No need to worry about running a cable to a power supply. Another plus is it has 2 antenna ports on the rear! Bonus! Overall: a very good, fast and easy tuner to use. Well worth the money and looks the part here in the shack. Easy to read LED SWR readout and RF ouputs gives that extra "comfort" factor. Would I recommend it? Absolutely!
