Tennadyne T8 log periodic beam for sale. 8 element log periodic on an 18ft boom. Works a treat on hf and warc bands 13mhz -30mhz with low swr, so no need to use a tuner.

This beam is excellent as a single dx hunter or contesting mult antenna.
The beam is in used condition and can be seen working on each band before dismantling (help will be given to dismantle down to roof rack managable size). The only problem I have had with this beam is with the self tapper screws on the tapered element joins - some worked loose in the wind and the elements dropped off! - therefore the beam has recently been refurbished by replacing the original self tappers with stainless bolts and nuts in order to ensure the elements dont come loose in the winter winds.
Performance wise the beam has compared very well on 20m against both a 24ft boom length hygain TH7 trapped beam (more efficient as no traps on the log periodic) and a current hygain 4 ele mono band 20m yagi (similar signal strength - which can be demonstrated before purchase). Dont take my word for it - come and see for yourelf and try before you buy.
Reason for sale is my lack of time for hf contesting or dxing and need the space on the small second mast here for new 6m and 2m array. These beams cost over £550 - so its a bargain for someone at £395.
