Default Kenwood 570s menu issue!

Hi all Just wondering if any one, knows how to get menu number 47 to 51 up?
mine only go`s to 46 then 00 for display brightness, then back to 1 etc.
according to the manual there should be 51. I need to access menu No 50 for the rx sound? Any help would be greatly appriciated

Default S/sg??

570S & D models have slightly less options than SG & DG models. They look the same from the front panel. I have an S model. The difference is marginal!

HI Here what i found when i googled HOW TO access the params
copied from a forum

"If you mean the second user menu, then press menu and then A/B to
select. If you meant the service menu, you have to make a shorting plug
for the ACC2 socket. Short pins 8 & 9 together. Insert the plug
into the socket, then while holding the "N.R." and "LSB/USB" buttons,
press "POWER". After the "HELLO" message, you will see the
word "ADJUST" on the display."

PS I must make a not of this myself as i have a TS570D

Lightbulb 570 menu

The 'service' menu settings are best left for the professionals!
A friend of mine tried some of the 'adjustments' one can find on the net and just ended up having to send his radio for repair.

The rx equaliser makes very little difference and in fact I have never used mine in the past.

EQcalc is a great wee program for making up tx/rx filters for either the TS-570DG or TS-2000.
In the menu setting "U" can be defined to your own requirements, voice pattern & listening preferences and is very easy to use.
