The Adventurer provides five-band, omni-directional communications in an easy-to-assemble package that requires no radial ground system or towers.  You can work the 10, 12, 15, 17, and 20 meter amateur radio bands almost instantly with the push of a button. It quickly and easily tunes to MARS frequencies by slightly pressing or decompressing the tuning coils.

The black powder coating assures stealth performance for Hams who operate in areas with deed restrictions or other areas prohibiting permanently installed antennas and towers.

A low take-off angle - an outcome of the modified-H design - produces maximum skip for successful DX transmissions and contact. The Adventurer can be assembled in minutes for either permanent installation on a mounting rod, or temporary setup using a sturdy, optional Quadrapod.

The Permanent Mounting Assembly is constructed of durable 6061–T6, aluminum, thick-walled, four-foot tubing. The mounting assembly comes in a powder-coated black matte stealth finish. When mounted Adventurer measures 8'3" tall.

Quadrapod for the TW2010 Adventurer Antenna or TW2010L Backpacker Antenna 

The sturdy aluminum Quadrapod measures 7¾" x 7¾" x 31" when folded. Set up and assembly of the antenna onto the quadrapod takes mere minutes. It is perfect for Ham operators on the go and those who need a temporary but stable installation.

The Adventurer Antenna comes with these components:

The Adventurer Controller is housed in a heavy-duty extruded aluminum enclosure. The bright, high contrast, easy-to-read, multi-colored LED front pannel is designed for ease of operation and readability. The non–marring and non–skid rubber feet are permanently attached to the controller with screws.

The Switching Array adjusts the feed point impedance based on the band width selection. This allows the antenna to produce a lower Voltage Standing Wave Radio (VSWR). The copper coils effortlessly extend the electrical signal of the antenna reducing heat loss and the amount of wasted power. The Adventurer is a 95 percent efficient antenna system in a small, clean package.

The TransWorld TW2010L Backpacker Antenna

The TransWorld TW2010L Backpacker 5 band antenna is little brother of the famous Transworld Adventurer.  It is especially suited for the amateur operator who loves backpacking, cycling, camping, or otherwise being on the go with his station.  

The Backpacker features manual switching for 10, 12, 15, 17, and 20 meters directly on the switching array box without the need for a controller or power source.  It quickly and easily tunes to MARS frequencies by slightly adjusting the tuning coils.

The sturdy, lightweight quadra-stand provides quick and easy mounting place for the Backpacker.  It comes with its own heavily padded carrying bag designed especially for TransWorld antennas.

Quadra-Stand for the Backpacker Antenna or the Adventurer Antenna

The sturdy quadra-stand provides the perfect base for the Transworld Backpacker. It measures 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 x 31 when folded and takes only minutes to assemble complete with the Backpacker firmly mounted. Fits easily in the Backpacker carrying bag along with the Backpacker antenna.

Adventurer & Backpacker Travel Bag

The specially designed and heavily padded carry bag is perfect for transporting both the Adventurer and Backpacker antenna systems.  It is made of heavy black woven fabric complete with pockets for the controller, control cable, feedline, control box, antennas, and much much more.

The TransWorld TW4040 Adventurer Monoband Antenna is the perfect antenna for high performance DX communications in a portable package. This antenna system is ideal for camping, emergencies, or permanent installations. The Adventurer Quadrapod, Adventurer QuadraStand, and Adventurer Travel Bag work perfectly with the TW4040 Adventurer Antenna.

The TW4040 Adventurer array box covers the entire 40 meter band (i.e., 7.0-7.3 MHz) without the necessity of either manual band changing or the need for a controller!
