49:1 Hi Power Matching Transformer suitable for Multi Band End Fed Half Wave antennas
Ideal for home or field use
All you need to do is add your antenna wire - the Messi & Paoloni Dipoflex wire is ideal; See accessories
For example, if you attach 130ft (39.6m) of wire you will get 80, 40, 20, 15 & 10m
or 67ft of wire will give you 40, 20, 15 & 10m
Plus, if you use a AMU/ATU you MAY also get 30, 17 & 12m depending on your setup

Your wire may be straight, sloper, inverted V, inverted L etc

Just add 1/2 wave wire to this transformer and tune the length to your preference.
Note that the antenna will be working on multiple frequencies.
Half wave for 80m (~130 feet) will be half wave on 80m and two half waves on 40m, four half waves on 20m, eight half waves on 10m etc... So there may be some gain on the higher bands.
If you want to use it on any particular frequency, just cut the half wavelength wire for that frequency or any frequency from 3-30MHz.

4.2m (13.8ft) Counterpoise at the lug next to the SO-239 connector is recommended.
The Coax braid must be earthed at the rig end.
Long wires tend to collect electrostatic charge (usually when the weather is stormy) which can produce ESD (electrostatic discharge) at the end of your cable and damage your equipment.
If the transformer is used with an external tuner, power should be reduced on those bands that show an SWR above 1.6 without the tuner.
