The Bushcomm Horizontal Masthead Dipole is designed for conditions where space is at a premium but a high performance base station antenna is still required. The Antenna features two four metre aluminium dipole elements configured to operate in a frequency range of 3-30 MHz with the aid of a Bushcomm designed pre-amp with tuner. The tuner allows fast and easy operation at a desired frequency and works with just about any radio. The preamp provides broadband impedance matching during scan mode (receive) operation, for reliable link establishment using modern radio protocols.

Assembly fixtures are supplied to help attach it to an existing tower or a Bushcomm supplied ground or roof mounted tower. The elements are supplied in four two metre lengths to assist shipping. Assembly instructions are supplied. Radiation patterns provided are tested at 10m but will vary slightly depending on the mounted height of the antenna. Heights from 6 to 12m will give similar results.
