The counterpoises kit is ideal for portable antenna deployment.
The system will create the ground-plane needed to any vertical antenna and will also play the role of guy wires.
The kit contains the following:
- 4 X Radials 25' Copper Clad KEVLAR PTFE (Teflon) (-70°C to 150°C) wire secured around plastic wire winders with NEW isolator O-Ring.
- 4 X Steel Tent Stakes
- Each wire has one terminal 3/8" of diameter that can be attached at the base of the HYBRID, MINI, MICRO or to the Jawmount or to any other screw of 3/8" diameter or less.

CHA Counterpoises Kit

Having purchased an MPAS 2 antenna kit I found that it would benefit from additional counterpoises.
Typical of CHA the quality is excellent. The wires are robust, the winders made to an excellent standard. Did it make a difference. Yes, I now get a 1:1 SWR on 17m and 15m, my SWR has dropped to 1:5 on 20m and 80m has dropped down to 1:7 which is a big improvement from 2+
I do actually us the provided counterpoise as well as the 4 provided in this kit.
