Re-designed replacement rotator platform brackets can now be used for Yaesu, Create, Hy-gain & Daiwa but please check the BE470-GA drawing to confirm before ordering.

These brackets are designed to mount a Bell Type rotator to the side of a mast with a bearing above rotating the aerial mast.

To assemble and maintain the aerial system the complete mounting mast and rotating mast should be lowered as one unit.

( Note. These bracket can't be mounted direct to a wall.)

The only bearing that will fit the brackets is the Yaesu GS065 but the fixing centres and hole clearance are on the BE470-GA if you have another make available.

The centre line of the rotating mast to the outside mounting mast is 115mm. The mounting of the brackets for the rotator being used needs to be checked and bolts to mount the platforms selected on purchase when adding to basket.

Additional information.

We suggest when deciding to mount the platforms that a spacing of at least one third of the mast being rotated being below the bearing. i.e 3.5 feet below the bearing for a 10 foot mast and 1 metre for a 3 metre mast.

For larger antenna systems it's possible to fit saddles under the U and V bolts if required to avoid the rotation of the platforms on the mounted mast, this will also increase the mast clearance from 115mm to approx. 135mm subject to mast diameter.
