A compact communications speaker with switchable active filtering, five levels of noise reduction and simple 3.5 mm audio connectivity for improving speech intelligibility at the operating position.
The ELAD SP-1C builds on the proven SP-1 speaker design used alongside ELAD equipment such as the FDM-DUO and FDM-DUO-R. It combines a compact aluminium enclosure with three selectable audio modes, allowing the operator to choose unfiltered audio, communications-band filtering or adjustable noise reduction to suit changing receive conditions.
Tailor the audio to the signal
The SP-1C gives you three different ways to listen, making it easy to switch from natural full-range audio to speech-focused filtering when conditions become more difficult.
Works as a conventional speaker without DC power
The active filtering and noise-reduction circuitry requires a 12 to 15 V DC supply, but the loudspeaker can still be used without external power. When unpowered, the audio input is connected directly to the speaker for straightforward passive operation.
Silence the speaker instantly
A dedicated mute control allows the speaker output to be temporarily silenced without changing the radio's volume setting.
See the active mode at a glance
Front-panel LED indicators provide clear visual confirmation of the speaker's operating state and selected functions.
3.5 mm audio and Anderson Powerpole
Audio is connected using a standard 3.5 mm jack lead, while DC power is supplied through Anderson Powerpole connectors. Both the audio lead and DC power cable are included with the speaker.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
