Call 0345 2300 599The M2 Antennas 440-18X is a high-performance broadband Yagi antenna covering 420-450MHz.
It replaces the proven M2 440-18 and forms part of M2’s compact “X” series, which has been redesigned around shorter boom sections to help keep shipping packages below 48in long. The shorter sections also make the antenna easier to transport, while thicker-wall boom sections provide added strength.
The 440-18X is computer optimised to deliver high gain, a clean radiation pattern, and strong broadband performance across the 70cm band. It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and is well suited to stacking two or more antennas where additional gain is required.
It is ideal for applications including ATV, OSCAR satellite work, FM, long-haul tropo, and other weak-signal UHF operation.

Construction
The 440-18X uses M2’s driven element module, designed for strong weather resistance and high power handling.
All connectors are O-ring sealed to the CNC-machined block, while internal connections are sealed in silicone gel for long-term electrical reliability. The balun coax connectors are triple O-ring sealed.
Key mechanical and electrical parts are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, while all hardware except the U-bolts is stainless steel.

Installation Notes
The 440-18X can be mounted for either vertical or horizontal polarisation, depending on the intended application.
For additional gain, two or more antennas can be stacked using the recommended spacing of 51in high and 52in wide.
As with any directional antenna, final performance will depend on installation height, feedline quality, mast position, surrounding structures, and correct alignment.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
