The OB6-3M is a high-performance triband antenna designed for the 14, 21, and 28 MHz amateur radio bands. It delivers excellent results, with gain figures of 4.2 dBd on 20 meters, 4.1 dBd on 15 meters, and 4.7 dBd on 10 meters—equivalent to 11.5 dBi, 11.8 dBi, and 12.5 dBi. Front-to-back ratios are 25 dB on 20 and 10 meters, and 15 dB on 15 meters, ensuring reliable signal control and performance.

The OB6-3M is designed using advanced computer-aided simulation techniques and is carefully refined through extensive field testing. At its core lies a directly coupled 3-element driver cell, where the active elements are interconnected by a phase line made of square tubes. It features a separate reflector for the 20m and 15m bands and a dedicated director for the 10m band. A key feature is the use of Moxon-bent elements for the 20m band, reducing physical size while maintaining efficiency and improving the front-to-back ratio.

Thanks to this innovative arrangement and the exclusive use of full-size elements, the OB6-3M achieves maximum efficiency, optimal bandwidth for high gain, clear radiation patterns, and low SWR. SWR performance ranges from 1.3 to 1.0 to 1.3 on 20 meters, 1.8 to 1.1 to 1.7 on 15 meters, and 1.2 to 1.1 to 1.3 on 10 meters, minimising signal loss.

Mechanically, the OB6-3M features a maximum element length of 8.08 meters and a boom length of 3.10 meters. Weighing 15 kilograms, it is robustly built to ensure reliable operation even under demanding conditions.
