Call 0345 2300 599The new NEDSP1962-KBD amplified DSP noise cancelling retrofit module replaces the popular NEDSP1062-KBD, which is now obsolete. The NEDSP1962-KBD can be retrofitted into many amateur radio extension speakers or older style radios (space permitting).
The NEDSP1962-KBD incorporates DSP technology that identifies speech in noisy voice signals and can remove the noise to leave clear speech.
The module provides up to 40dB of noise reduction over 8 filter levels and up to 65dB of tone reduction. It comes pre-wired and can be easily fitted into existing equipment, with all functions being controlled by a simple keyboard switch assembly.
The NEDSP1962-KBD incorporates DSP noise cancelling technology that makes the processed audio clearer and more intelligible. The module has an onboard 5W Class D type audio amplifier, which is very efficient so no heatsink is required.
The module is simply wired inside your extension speaker between the audio input and loudspeaker. It is powered from a suitable 10 to 18V DC power supply and when the module is switched off the audio bypass feature routes the audio signal directly through to the loudspeaker.
The pre-wired switch assembly controls all the functions with two pushbuttons and two LED’S indicating the filter level and audio input overload.
The NEDSP1962-KBD is supplied as a pre-wired assembly with a 2.1 mm power socket, audio input and output wires, keyboard switch assembly and full mounting kit with professional labels and user manual.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
