Armoloq MBS-1280/F
Add a rugged, self-contained UB1280-size battery system to your Armoloq TPA-FTX1 or TPA-705F and unlock full 10 W portable operation from your Yaesu FTX-1 or Icom IC-705.
The MBS-1280/F is compatible with the Armoloq TPA-FTX1 for the Yaesu FTX-1 and the TPA-705F for the Icom IC-705.

View the standard MBS-1280Built around the proven UB1280 battery footprint, the MBS-1280/F provides an enclosed battery compartment that mounts directly to the rear of the supported TPA. The result is a compact, integrated manpack platform designed for portable, expedition and off-grid amateur-radio operation.
Double your output power
One of the biggest advantages of the MBS-1280/F is the ability to operate either supported transceiver from a larger external battery rather than relying solely on the radio's internal battery.

The MBS-1280/F differs from the standard MBS-1280 through its folding mounting arrangement. Adjustable hinges connect the battery system to the compatible TPA, allowing the complete setup to transition between a compact carry configuration and an angled tabletop operating position.
This places the radio at a more comfortable viewing and operating angle while the battery compartment forms part of the supporting structure.
Designed for UB1280-size LiFePO₄ batteries
Check the physical dimensions of your chosen battery before installation. The battery itself is not supplied with the MBS-1280/F.

What else do I need?
The MBS-1280/F does not include a battery, radio or TPA.
You will also need a suitable short radio power lead terminated with Anderson Powerpole connectors to connect your IC-705 or FTX-1 to the MBS battery output.

Not Included

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
