The Armoloq TPA-891B is a rugged protective mounting platform designed specifically for the Yaesu FT-891.
Designed with portable and field operation in mind, the TPA-891B secures the transceiver while maintaining access to the radio's controls and detachable components.
Combined with the included PL-TNC/RA3 RF package, the TPA-891B creates a practical field-ready platform for portable, manpack and expedition-style HF operation.

Built for Portable FT-891 Operation
The TPA-891B provides the FT-891 with a rugged mounting platform suited to field, portable, manpack and expedition-style installations.
The supplied hardware is specifically configured for correct installation on the radio, including two precision washers on the VFO side to prevent lateral pressure being placed on the detachable control head.
PL-TNC/RA3 Plug-and-Play Package
The included PL-TNC/RA3 package provides a convenient RF connection arrangement for portable deployment.
It includes a PL-259 right angle to TNC male lead terminated with 1ft of RG58C/U, together with a TNC female bulkhead and TNC male to BNC female adaptor.

The two supplied precision washers are essential for correct installation on the VFO side of the FT-891. They provide the required spacing and help prevent lateral pressure on the detachable control head. The TPA must not be installed without these washers in place.

The two precision washers must be installed on the VFO side. They provide the correct spacing and prevent lateral pressure from being placed on the detachable control head. Do not install the TPA without these washers in place.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
