Armoloq TPA-BH5 for Yaesu FTM-500 / FTM-510
Rugged two-piece aluminium protective mounting platform supplied with the PL-TNC/RA3 RF package and required TPA SLO spacers.
This package includes the TPA-BH5 protective frame, two required TPA SLO aluminium spacers, mounting hardware and the PL-TNC/RA3 RF components listed below.

The Armoloq TPA-BH5 is a rugged two-piece protective mounting platform designed specifically for the Yaesu FTM-500 and FTM-510 series.
CNC laser-cut from 1/8 inch 5052 aluminium and finished in matte black powder coat, the wrap-around frame helps protect both the radio body and oversized control head while maintaining access to the controls, ports and ventilation.
The TPA-BH5 secures to the radio's eight factory side mounting holes and is suited to mobile installations, go-box builds and field deployments where additional protection and secure mounting are required.
Compatible with Yaesu FTM-500DR, FTM-500DE, FTM-510DR and FTM-510DE.
CNC laser-cut 1/8 inch aluminium with a durable matte black powder-coated finish.
Protects the radio body and oversized control head while maintaining normal access and ventilation.
Includes a right-angle RF lead, TNC bulkhead and TNC to BNC adaptor.
Built Around the FTM-500 and FTM-510
The two-piece TPA-BH5 uses the radio's eight factory side mounting holes to provide a rigid protective structure suitable for mobile, field and go-box installations.
The frame maintains access to the controls and display while leaving the radio's ventilation areas accessible.
TPA SLO Aluminium Spacers
Due to the deeper control head used on the FTM-500 and FTM-510 series, the two supplied TPA SLO spacers must be fitted. These 6061 aluminium spacers offset the protective platform correctly for the oversized control head.
PL-TNC/RA3 Plug-and-Play Package
The included PL-TNC/RA3 package provides a clean method of relocating the radio's RF connection for easier cable access in portable and mobile installations.
It includes a right-angle PL-259 to TNC male lead terminated with 1ft of RG58C/U, a TNC female bulkhead connector and a TNC male to BNC female adaptor.

The TPA SLO spacers are required for correct installation. Use the supplied fixings in their specified positions. They are the correct thread and length for the installation and help prevent damage to the radio's internals.

Fitting the TPA-BH5
The supplied SLO spacers are required to provide the correct offset for the oversized FTM-500 and FTM-510 control head. Follow the sequence below using the supplied mounting hardware.
Identify the SLO Spacers
Locate the two matching machined SLO aluminium spacers and the supplied M2.6-0.45 x 8mm socket-head screws.
Mount the SLO Spacers
Mount the SLO aluminium spacers with the supplied M2.6-0.45 x 8mm socket-head screws.

Position the TPA Frame
Position the two protective mounting frame sections around the radio and align the frame mounting points with the installed SLO spacers.

Secure the Protective Frame
Affix the TPA protective mounting frame with the supplied M4-0.7 x 10mm socket-head screws.
The FTM-500 and FTM-510 series use a deeper control head design. The two supplied TPA SLO spacers are therefore required for correct installation and must be fitted.
Use the supplied M2.6 and M4 socket-head screws in their specified positions. The supplied fixings are the correct thread and length for installation with the TPA-BH5 and SLO spacers.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
