If your radio is not listed here and it is a relatively modern model, there is a good chance it already has the USB audio and CAT connectivity needed to connect directly to a computer without a Digirig.

Audio, CAT and PTT in One Compact Interface
The Digirig Mobile combines a USB audio codec, serial CAT interface and PTT switching inside a compact aluminium enclosure.
Where supported by the connected radio, CAT communication can provide control of functions including PTT, frequency, band selection and tuning. This avoids having to rely solely on VOX operation for digital modes.
A single USB connection between the Digirig and computer carries both audio and serial communications, helping reduce cable clutter in portable, mobile and fixed installations.

Integrated serial interface for compatible computer control and hardware PTT switching.
Suitable for common amateur radio digital mode software across the major desktop operating systems.

One Interface for a Wide Range of Software
The Digirig Mobile is well suited to FT8, JS8Call, Winlink, APRS, packet and SSTV, together with many other soundcard-based digital modes and applications requiring computer control of a compatible transceiver.
Audio and hardware PTT can operate independently of serial CAT, so radios without suitable CAT support may still be usable for many digital modes when the correct audio and PTT cable is available.

The Correct Interface and Cables Together
Different transceivers use different audio, PTT and CAT connections. The selectable kits on this page pair the correct Digirig Mobile interface configuration with the appropriate transceiver cable set.
That removes the need to work out which interface variant and cable combination is required for each supported radio.
Each bundle contains a specific Digirig Mobile interface configuration and cable set. Use the Kit Finder above, then select the corresponding option from the product drop-down menu.
CAT support and PTT behaviour can vary between transceiver models and software configurations. The Digirig interface CAT configuration is set internally using solder jumpers and is not intended to be changed during normal operation.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
