Armoloq TPA-817B with RF Package (PL-TNC/RA3)
Rugged aluminium protective pack frame for the Yaesu FT-817, FT-817ND and FT-818, supplied with the PL-TNC/RA3 RF Plug-and-Play Package for portable and field operation.

The Armoloq TPA-817B is a rugged, precision-engineered two-piece protective mounting platform designed specifically for the Yaesu FT-817 and FT-818 series of radios.
Manufactured from CNC laser-cut 1/8" 5052 aluminium and finished in a matte black powder coat, the TPA-817B provides wrap-around protection for the radio while preserving access to important controls including MODE, BAND and the battery compartment.
Its compact protective design makes the FT-817 and FT-818 series particularly well suited to portable, manpack, SOTA, POTA and emergency communications installations where the radio may be transported and deployed regularly.

Serious Protection Without Losing Access
The TPA-817B surrounds the radio with a rigid aluminium structure designed to help protect the chassis and control area during transport and field operation.
The frame secures to the radio using its eight side mounting holes and the supplied M2.6-0.45 x 8mm screws.
The open wrap-around design retains access to the top-mounted controls and battery compartment, allowing the radio to remain practical for portable operation once installed in the frame.
Built for Manpack and Field Operation
The compact FT-817 and FT-818 series are well suited to portable operation, and the TPA-817B adds a durable protective structure for installations where the radio may be carried, transported or deployed regularly.
This makes the frame particularly useful for SOTA, POTA, field communications, emergency communications and compact manpack-style systems.
Convenient Antenna Relocation
This TPA-817B kit includes the Armoloq PL-TNC/RA3 RF Plug-and-Play Package to simplify antenna connection and cable routing in portable installations.
The supplied RF lead uses a right-angle PL-259 to TNC male connection with 1ft of RG58C/U coax. A separate TNC female bulkhead connector provides the relocated connection point, with a TNC male to BNC female adaptor also included.
The supplied relocation mount and hardware allow the antenna connection to be positioned more conveniently, helping simplify setup and reduce unnecessary cable movement in the field.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
