The Digirig Mobile Interface + Radio Cable Kit provides a complete digital modes interface solution for a range of popular Icom, Yaesu, Xiegu, Kenwood and Lab599 radios. Each option includes the correct Digirig Mobile interface variant and matching transceiver-side cable kit, allowing you to choose the correct bundle for your radio from the drop-down menu.

The Digirig Mobile combines a USB audio codec, serial CAT interface and PTT switching in one compact aluminium enclosure. It supports full CAT control, including PTT, band control, tuning and other supported radio functions, rather than relying only on VOX-based PTT. A single USB connection to the computer helps reduce cable clutter and makes it suitable for Windows, macOS and Linux systems.

Audio and PTT are always available independently from serial CAT, giving the minimum required configuration for many digital modes with compatible radios. The interface uses a widely supported CP2102 serial interface and CM108 audio codec, appearing as a generic audio device with no additional audio driver normally required.

The Digirig Mobile is well suited to FT8, JS8Call, Winlink, APRS, packet, SSTV and other soundcard-based digital modes, as well as portable, mobile and compact station operation.

Please check the selected kit carefully before ordering. Each bundle includes a specific Digirig Mobile interface version and cable set for the radio family shown. Radio compatibility, CAT support and PTT behaviour may vary depending on the transceiver model, software settings and operating system. CAT configuration is set using solder jumpers and cannot be changed operationally. Please select the correct kit for your radio before ordering.

Important note: some transceiver models, such as the Icom IC-746PRO, use separate accessory connections for different bands. The audio cable in this kit interfaces with the accessory port for HF/50MHz. If a Mini DIN 6 port is also present, use a matching cable for VHF/UHF modes.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.

International Warranty information

Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
