The Armoloq MBS-1280/F is a rugged, field-ready manpack battery system designed to provide reliable portable power for radios mounted in either the Armoloq TPA-705F or Armoloq TPA-FTX1 platforms. Built around the proven UB1280 battery footprint, it features a fully enclosed, durable battery compartment that mounts directly to the rear of the TPA, transforming your radio into a self-contained manpack system for off-grid, expedition, or tactical operation. The hinged battery compartment folds to act as an adjustable stand, angling the radio for improved visibility and comfort during desktop or field use.
Constructed from formed Kydex (2.1 mm cover, 2.3 mm compartment) and finished with a 5052 aluminium mounting plate, the MBS-1280/F provides exceptional protection against impact and environmental exposure, all while maintaining a compact and lightweight form.
When powered from the MBS-1280/F, both supported radios are capable of operating at their full 10 W output power rather than being limited to internal battery capacity. This allows the Icom IC-705 to transmit at 10 W instead of 5 W, and the Yaesu FTX-1 to transmit at 10 W instead of 6 W, significantly improving performance, signal reach, and operational endurance in the field.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
