The Sierra Radio Systems SIR-472 is a slim DIN rail mounted 6A relay for use with Sierra Station Controller systems and other suitable low-voltage control installations.
It provides a compact way to add relay switching to a station control panel, remote site cabinet, repeater installation, or shack automation setup. The slim DIN rail format makes it well suited to tidy control-panel layouts where multiple relays or control modules need to be mounted in a limited amount of space.
The SIR-472 is a 12V single pole double throw relay with a maximum contact current of 6A. It also includes an LED indicator, making it easier to see relay state during installation, testing, and fault-finding.

Station Controller System Role
The SIR-472 is normally used as a relay accessory within a Sierra Station Controller installation.
It is particularly suited for use with the SIR-321 General Purpose GPIO Module, where the GPIO module’s outputs can be used to operate external relays and controlled circuits. This allows the Station Controller dashboard or automation flow to control additional station equipment through a compact DIN rail relay.
Unlike Sierra DCN modules, the SIR-472 does not communicate directly over the Device Control Network. It is a relay accessory that must be wired into a suitable control circuit.
Power and Wiring Notes
The SIR-472 is a 12V relay and must be wired into a suitable control circuit.
It is not a standalone powered DCN module, and it is not supplied with a plug-in power supply. The controlling module, control wiring, power source, load wiring, and fuse protection must all be suitable for the intended installation.

SIR-321 GPIO module, SIR-310 host adapter, installation kit, DCN hub, power supply, control wiring, fuses, load wiring, station equipment, and other accessories are not included unless stated otherwise.
Please ensure that the relay, wiring, control source, load, and fuse protection are suitable for the voltage and current being switched. The relay must not be used above its rated contact current.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
