Technical Description Antenna Genius 8x2 PL

The Antenna Genius is an antenna switch that  can switch TWO  inputs to 8 antennas.  

 

Right from the start of development, care was taken to be able to operate this switch remotely via an Ethernet interface. Another point was the requirement that all Genius devices such as the interface, antenna switch, rotor controller and station controller are compatible with each other.

 

Every Genius device has an interface (API) to work with different devices and software (e.g. log software, contest software, digital operating modes).

 

The control of Antenna Genius is officially supported by the N4PY software. Communication takes place via a TCP/IP connection. For more information, please consult the N4PY help files.

Operate your own station automatically?

Almost all newer transceivers now offer the option of being operated remotely. However, it is usually the additional peripherals that can only be integrated into such a system with difficulty and with the use of additional hardware.

 

With the Antenna Genius, 4O3A has now developed an antenna switch that can be completely controlled remotely. The special thing about it is that the switch can be expanded and it does not necessarily have to be operated by a control device. 

 

In addition to manual programming and the optional Genius control device, the user also has a Windows app and integration into the FlexRadio transceiver operating system.

 

If you would like to set up a station that can be completely remote controlled, this antenna switch is essential.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.

International Warranty information

Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
