The Digirig Digitenna is a compact, lightweight End Fed Half Wave antenna designed for fast HF deployment in the field. Small enough to fit easily into a portable radio kit, it is ideal for POTA, SOTA, travel, preparedness use and lightweight QRP or low-power portable operating.

The Digitenna uses a 49 to 1 transformer on an FT-82-43 ferrite toroid core and is fitted with a BNC male connector. A short coax lead is required to connect it to your transceiver, with the coax shield acting as the counterpoise to the radiating element. Deployment is quick and simple using a mast, tree or other raised anchor point, with the supplied S-carabiner helping secure the antenna in place.

It is rated up to 50W for voice and SSB operation, or up to 20W for high duty cycle digital modes, making it a practical choice for many popular portable HF radios. The antenna can also be fine-tuned by adjusting the end knot loop, allowing the resonant point to be moved slightly up or down the band.

The 20M version includes 10m of silicone-insulated 22AWG wire and works especially well in a vertical arrangement with a 10m mast. It may also be usable on 17m and 15m with a suitable antenna tuner.

The 40M version includes 20m of silicone-insulated 24AWG wire and is optimised for maximum band coverage. Due to the longer wire length, it is usually best deployed as an angled, sloping or horizontal antenna using an elevated anchor point.

Notes

A short run of coax is required to connect the antenna to your transceiver. The coax shield acts as the counterpoise, so performance may vary slightly depending on coax length, installation height and deployment style.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.

International Warranty information

Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
