Call 0345 2300 599The Momobeam End Fed wire antenna range offers a practical and efficient solution for HF operators who want multi-band performance from a simple wire antenna. Suitable for fixed installations as well as portable operation, these antennas can be installed quickly in a horizontal, inverted L or sloper configuration.
End Fed antennas are fed from one end of the wire, making them especially useful where a centre-fed dipole would be difficult to install. With a long half-wave radiator and a 49 to 1 wide-band impedance transformer, the antenna is designed to transform the high feed point impedance to a value closer to 50 ohms, allowing operation across multiple HF bands.
Momobeam End Fed antennas are built using coated copper core wire, UV-resistant materials and stainless steel hardware, making them suitable for outdoor use. When installed correctly at a good height and clear of nearby obstructions, they can provide excellent multi-band performance with a typical impedance match of better than 2 to 1 on supported bands. In some installations, minor trimming or the use of an internal or external tuner may help optimise SWR.
Available in 300W and 1kW versions, with standard and shorter coil-loaded models, the range gives operators a choice of compact or full-size options depending on their available space and operating requirements.

Installation Notes
For best performance, install the antenna as high as practical, ideally no less than 10 metres, and keep it as clear as possible from nearby obstacles. Depending on the installation, surrounding objects and ground conditions, some SWR adjustment may be required. Your radio’s internal tuner or a suitable external tuner can help fine-tune the match where needed.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
