Lightweight 2-element loaded Yagi for portable 20m operation, with approximately 5dBi forward gain and a compact 1.3m packed length.
The Pro Antennas 20m Portable Mini-Beam is a compact 2-element Yagi designed primarily for portable operation on the 20m amateur band.
Loading coils in the elements reduce the overall antenna size to around half that of a conventional full-size 20m Yagi, while retaining useful directional gain and a low launch angle for longer-distance contacts.
The antenna uses compact loaded Ampro antennas for the elements, together with lightweight spacer tubes and an aluminium alloy centre section. The result is a portable beam that is straightforward to transport, assemble and deploy.

Designed for Portable Operation
The Mini-Beam has been designed to be particularly easy to transport. The antenna elements can be packed into the two spacer tubes, while two spacer clamps are provided to hold the tubes and centre section together during transport.
Assembly is quick and straightforward, making it suitable for portable operating, field days and temporary stations where a directional 20m antenna is wanted without carrying a full-size beam.
Resonant 20m Design
The Mini-Beam is a resonant antenna, so an ATU is not normally required. It is supplied set around the middle of the 20m amateur band and can be adjusted to favour the part of the band you use most.
The specified 2:1 SWR bandwidth is approximately 450kHz, providing useful coverage across the 20m band once the antenna has been correctly adjusted and installed.
Portable or Base Station Use
A suitable tripod mast or similar support is required for portable operation. The antenna can also be installed on a fixed mast and used with a rotator for base station operation.
With a 2.9m turning radius, the Mini-Beam remains considerably more compact than a conventional full-size 20m Yagi while still offering directional performance.
A mast or tripod is not included. Antenna gain, launch angle and other performance figures will vary depending on mounting height, installation and surrounding location.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
