The Chelegance U5V3++ is a portable VHF and UHF dual band directional Yagi antenna designed for amateur satellite, ARISS, ISS, repeater and target tracking operation. Its parallel dual band Yagi design provides strong forward directivity and useful gain on both bands, making it ideal for operators who need reliable handheld or tripod mounted performance in the field.

Covering 144 to 148MHz on VHF and 430 to 440MHz on UHF, the U5V3++ is well suited to satellite passes, ISS contacts and other weak signal VHF/UHF applications. With gain of 9.5dBi on VHF and 11.15dBi on UHF, low VSWR and up to 50W power handling, it provides a compact but capable solution for portable directional communication.

The two section plug in boom allows the antenna to be quickly assembled and packed down for transport, while maintaining the correct element spacing for effective Yagi performance. The boom includes three M6 threaded mounting points, two 17mm ball mounts and a compatible phone holder, allowing operators to mount a phone for real time satellite tracking during passes.

The U5V3++ can be used handheld, attached to a tripod or mounted to a suitable mast or pole using the supplied clamp. This makes it a flexible choice for field work, portable satellite operation, ARISS contacts and directional repeater or signal finding use.

Please note that each boom section and element must be fitted in the correct orientation. Incorrect assembly, such as reversing elements, may affect gain and directional performance.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.

International Warranty information

Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
