49:1 High Power Matching Transformer for Multi-Band End Fed Half Wave Antennas
Perfect for home or field use, this high-power matching transformer can handle up to 1kW PEP.
Easy to Set Up Simply add your preferred antenna wire. The UK manufactured Kevlar wire is recommended (see accessories).
Flexible Antenna Lengths
Attach 132ft of wire for 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m bands.
Use 67ft of wire for 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m bands.
With an AMU/ATU, you might also get 30m, 17m, 12m & 6m bands, depending on your setup.
Using 132ft wire, you may also access 160m 'Top Band' with an external AMU/ATU.
Versatile Installation
Suitable for straight, sloper, inverted V, inverted L, and other configurations.
Ideal for limited space and stealth applications.
Includes SO239 socket.
Power Handling
Capable of handling 1kW PEP SSB / 200W AM, Data, FT8, FT4 etc.
For SWR greater than 1.2, reduce TX power accordingly.
Multi-Band Functionality
Works on multiple frequencies; half-wave for 80m (~132 feet) translates to multiple half-waves on higher bands.
Adjust the wire length for specific frequencies between 3-30MHz.
Wire Length Calculation
Length (feet) = 468 / Frequency (MHz)
Length (meters) = 142.5 / Frequency (MHz)
Cut the wire slightly longer for tuning.
Installation Tips
Tuning depends on height above ground and nearby objects.
No radials required, usually no tuner needed.
For vertical use, a 4.2m (13.8ft) counterpoise at the lug next to the SO-239 connector is recommended.
Earth the coax braid at the rig end to prevent electrostatic discharge.
Cautions
If used with an external tuner, reduce power on bands with SWR above 1.2.
Avoid transmitting with high power or high SWR to prevent overheating and damage to the Unun, which voids the warranty.

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
