The Predator series antennas are designed under extreme demand levels. Getting several bands in one system, without any of the bands are affected. Several monobanders in a same antenna.
This performance is characterized in that:
- The optimization of these antennas makes the radiation lobes are clean and you can listen to all stations that reach your S-meter without QRM and QRN alter the audio clarity.
- Direct feeding is 50 ohms, using supplied Balun.
- The bandwidth is similar to OWA, with the best technology development for the entire width of the band, and have low SWR.
- Its ratio of F / B is medium to high, offsetting the high gain front.
This is explained because in EAntenna:
Millimeter by millimeter, manufacture and build CNC machines and / or prepared to hundredths of a millimeter measurements for an accurate measurement.

Specifications 40MDY2
- The EAntenna 40MDY2 is a 2 element yagi for 40 meter band (7.0 ~ 7.3 MHz) of a unique performance with elements of only 12 meters long and 5.6 m. boom. Design, both electrical and mechanical, has been optimized by computer and by field testing, to obtain the best performance among all antennas in its class available in the market.
- The coils are HI-Q design, which optimizes the frequency which is designed and minimal loss over any other physical system acortamiendo an antenna by winding.
- The profit after so many hours in design, is of 6.55 dBi (in space) and 11.55 dBi to 18 meters.
Characteristics of the 40MDY2
- The Feed in the EAntenna 40MDY2 go directly to a 1:1 balun to 3 kW (included in price) and directly through a single coaxial cable drop 50 ohms.
- Simple and quick, because the elements are attached by screws DIN 912 being inserted into aluminum for a lifetime installation, high pressure clamps on the ends to fit.
- The fastening the boom on each element consists of an aluminum U 80 x 40 x 500mm with 4mm. thickness. and a tensioning system for both elements to the boom to get resistance up to 160 km/h. no doubt. The plate to the mast is 10mm. thick and 4 U-bolts of M8 both the mast and the boom, and like all antenna hardware, stainless steel.
- Antenna very solid construction, and with an acceptable weight.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
