DX Patrol QO-100 Power Amplifier

The DX Patrol QO-100 Power Amplifier is a robust and efficient 2.4 GHz amplifier designed to complement the DX Patrol Up Converter and deliver a strong, clean uplink signal to the QO-100 (Es’hail-2) satellite. Compact and well-built, it provides up to 12 W of RF output power (with 20 W achievable) from a modest 50–100 mW input, making it the ideal final stage for any serious QO-100 station.

Based on the NXP MHT1008NT1 LDMOS RF amplifier and RF2126 driver, this amplifier offers an impressive 25 dB of gain and excellent linearity, ensuring your signal remains clear and stable. It features both VOX and TX-Ground PTT control options, with integrated power and SWR metering for real-time performance monitoring. The amplifier operates from a 24 V DC supply (with a built-in 12–24 V step-up converter included) and typically draws up to 2 A under full output conditions.

Housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure with SMA connectors and feed-through capacitors for clean DC input, the amplifier includes LED indicators for easy visual status monitoring. Designed to operate reliably in demanding conditions, it offers excellent thermal stability, accurate SWR readings, and a conservative power rating that ensures long-term durability.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.

International Warranty information

Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
