Armoloq TPA-2980 with RF Package (PL-TNC/STRT)
Rugged aluminium protective frame for the Yaesu FT-2980, FT-2900R, FT-2800M, FT-2500M and FT-2400H, supplied with the PL-TNC/STRT RF Plug-and-Play Package.

The Armoloq TPA-2980 is a durable, precision-engineered two-piece protective mounting frame designed for the Yaesu FT-2980, FT-2900R, FT-2800M, FT-2500M and FT-2400H.
Manufactured from CNC laser-cut 1/8" 5052 aluminium and finished in a matte black powder coat, the TPA-2980 provides solid wrap-around protection for the radio while maintaining access to the front-facing controls, display and connections.
The frame attaches directly to the radio using four side mounting holes and the supplied M4 hardware, making it well suited to mobile installations, go-box builds, field communications and permanent installations where additional protection is desirable.

The frame attaches using four side mounting holes and the supplied M4-0.7 x 10mm screws, providing a secure installation without requiring permanent modification to the radio.
Its open wrap-around construction maintains access to the controls and display while adding a useful mounting platform for portable and fixed installations.
Cleaner Antenna Connections
This TPA-2980 kit includes the Armoloq PL-TNC/STRT RF Plug-and-Play Package, designed to simplify antenna relocation and cable management.
The supplied assembly uses a straight PL-259 to TNC female bulkhead connection with 1ft of RG58C/U coax. A TNC male to BNC female adaptor is also included.
The supplied relocation mount and hardware allow the antenna connection to be positioned more conveniently, helping reduce cable strain and improve accessibility in mobile and field installations.

The supplied M4-0.7 x 10mm screws are the correct length for safe installation with the TPA frame and must not be used without the TPA frame fitted.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
