The ATS-909X2+ builds on Sangean's flagship portable receiver with a particular focus on shortwave and SSB listening. Whether you are following international broadcasters, monitoring amateur-radio SSB signals, listening to aviation traffic or simply looking for a capable travel radio, the ATS-909X2+ combines wide coverage with direct keypad entry, rotary tuning, automatic station storage and detailed manual control.

The ATS-909X2+ refines the previous ATS-909X2 with improved SSB performance, selectable SSB bandwidths and expanded station-memory organisation.
Hear more than broadcast shortwave
In addition to international shortwave broadcasting, the ATS-909X2+ supports both USB and LSB reception for monitoring amateur-radio and other compatible SSB communications.
Fine tuning is available in 10 or 20 Hz steps, while selectable 1.2, 2.2 and 3 kHz SSB bandwidths help reduce adjacent-channel interference and let you optimise the sound for changing reception conditions.
118–137 MHz aviation monitoring
The dedicated air-band receiver expands the ATS-909X2+ beyond traditional world-band listening, allowing reception of compatible civil aviation communications across 118–137 MHz.

RDS/RBDS support can display compatible programme service, programme type, radio text and clock information alongside normal FM reception.
Find and organise stations automatically
ATS can automatically scan and store available LW, MW, SW and FM stations, while direct keypad entry, automatic scanning, manual tuning, memory recall and rotary tuning give you five different ways to reach the signal you want.
Detailed information at a glance
The large LCD provides tuning and memory information alongside signal-to-noise ratio and received signal strength indications. Battery level and charging indicators are also built into the display.
Built-in listening
The internal 76 mm speaker is driven by a Class AB amplifier with up to 1 W output when externally powered.

Choose from three audio EQ settings to tailor the sound to speech, music or general listening.
Built for home listening and travel
The ATS-909X2+ can operate from its supplied 9 V / 1.2 A power adaptor or from four AA batteries. Rechargeable battery operation is supported.
More than a receiver
Dual-time display, three alarms, snooze, sleep timer and Sangean's HWS Humane Wake System make the ATS-909X2+ particularly useful as a travel radio. A lock switch prevents accidental control changes while packed away.

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
