Messi & Paoloni Hyperflex 5 Crystal combines the compact dimensions, low loss and extreme flexibility of standard Hyperflex 5 with a distinctive transparent outer jacket that leaves the cable braid visible.
At just 5.4mm overall diameter, it is a particularly useful cable for portable installations, patch leads, mobile applications and rotator-fed antennas where a larger coaxial cable would be unnecessarily bulky.
Internally, Hyperflex 5 Crystal uses the same high-performance construction as standard Hyperflex 5, including a 19-strand copper centre conductor, physically foamed polyethylene dielectric, full foil screen and 120-wire reactive copper braid.
Crystal-clear outer sheath leaves the high-quality copper braid visible for a distinctive finish.
Compact dimensions make it ideal where a larger low-loss cable would be too bulky.
High velocity ratio from its physically foamed polyethylene dielectric.
19-strand centre conductor and reactive braid make it particularly suited to repeated movement and tight installations.
Hyperflex 5 Performance, Crystal Finish
Hyperflex 5 Crystal is primarily about giving the proven Hyperflex 5 construction a different appearance. Beneath the transparent jacket, the electrical design remains the same as the standard black version.
The 120-wire copper braid is manufactured using a 24-spool braiding process, providing more braid crossovers than a conventional 16-spool construction. This helps the cable remain highly flexible while maintaining excellent screening.
With an 87% velocity factor and screening efficiency greater than 105dB between 100MHz and 2000MHz, Hyperflex 5 Crystal provides the same strong RF performance as standard Hyperflex 5.
Where Hyperflex 5 Crystal Works Best
Compact diameter, excellent flexibility and its distinctive clear finish make it particularly attractive for visible shack interconnections.
Lightweight and easy to coil for transport, making it well suited to portable amateur radio operation.
Extreme flexibility makes the cable useful around moving antenna systems and rotator loops.

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
