The Chelegance JKEY-P1 Elite is designed for CW operators who want a smooth, stable and highly adjustable paddle for everyday operating, DXing and contest use.
Its precision bearing pivot system gives each paddle a clean, low-friction movement, while independently adjustable contact gaps and spring tension allow the operating feel to be set to suit your own sending style.
Bearing-Mounted Dual Paddles
Rather than relying on a simple flexing mechanism, the JKEY-P1 Elite uses a precision bearing pivot system for each paddle.
The result is a smooth, controlled movement intended to remain consistent during long CW sessions and fast contest operating.
Fine-Tune Paddle Travel
The contact gap can be adjusted independently to change how far each paddle moves before the contact closes, allowing anything from a very short, fast travel to a more deliberate feel.
Adjust the Return Force
Stainless-steel return springs provide adjustable paddle tension, letting you choose between a light touch and a firmer paddle response.
At approximately 1kg, the JKEY-P1 Elite has enough mass to remain firmly positioned during rapid operation. Anti-slip pads underneath the base add further resistance to movement on a smooth operating desk.
CNC-Machined Anodised Aluminium
The main housing is CNC-machined from aluminium alloy and finished with a protective anodised coating, providing precise component alignment and a durable finish.
The base is stainless steel, with stainless-steel return springs and gold-plated copper electrical contacts used within the keying mechanism.
Stainless Steel or Carbon Fibre
The JKEY-P1 Elite is supplied with stainless-steel paddles fitted as standard.
A separate pair of carbon-fibre paddles is also included, giving you the option to change the appearance and paddle feel without purchasing an additional accessory.
Standard 3.5mm Stereo Paddle Interface
The JKEY-P1 Elite connects through a standard 3.5mm stereo keying jack, with a suitable connection cable included.
The JKEY-P1 Elite is a passive dual paddle, not a self-contained electronic keyer. It should be connected to a transceiver with a built-in electronic keyer or to a suitable external keyer.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
