Ultralight QRP EFHW Antenna System

Chameleon CHA LEFS FEATHER

A compact 66½ft end-fed half-wave antenna system weighing just 3.4oz, designed for lightweight QRP field operation on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres without a tuner.

Built for Lightweight Field Operation
3.4oz / 96g Complete Antenna System

Designed for POTA, SOTA, backpacking, travel and emergency kits where packed size and weight matter.

The CHA LEFS FEATHER gives QRP operators a full-size end-fed HF wire antenna in an exceptionally lightweight package. At only 3.4oz / 96g, it is designed to disappear into a field bag until it is time to get on the air.

The final production radiator measures 66½ft. In the documented sloper configuration, with the far end raised to approximately 25ft and the End Transformer positioned around 3ft above ground, the antenna covers 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres without an antenna tuner.

With a suitable tuner, operation can also be extended to 30, 17 and 12 metres, together with the 10-metre FM segment.
