Why Should You Always Consider Using M&P-Flux?
M&P-Flux has become an essential companion for soldering connectors and printed microcircuits.
It is highly convenient for both soldering and desoldering due to the following reasons:
-
Enhanced Thermal Conductivity and Capillarity
Its chemical composition improves the flow of molten solder, allowing it to be drawn by capillary action into the holes of UHF EVO pins, N-type pins, PL259 connectors, and other soldered connectors. -
Cleaner Soldering
This process ensures the outer surface of the pin remains clean and free from unwanted solder build-up. -
Reduced Thermal Stress
The capillary action speeds up the soldering process, minimising heat exposure and preventing deformation of the coaxial cable’s dielectric due to excessive heat. -
Reliable, High-Quality Soldering
The result is a strong, shiny, and reliable solder joint, rather than a cold or dull finish, achieved in a shorter time. -
Efficient Desoldering
When desoldering, using M&P-Flux with a desoldering braid while heating the area with a soldering iron creates an inverse capillary effect. The solder is effortlessly drawn into the braid, leaving the connector clean and perfectly reusable.
How to Use M&P-Flux
Apply a small amount of M&P-Flux inside the hole using the specialised mini tube dispenser. Then, place the solder wire and apply the soldering iron at a temperature of 300°C - 350°C (572°F - 662°F). The solder will flow precisely where needed, reducing the risk of short circuits and saving time and effort.
Important Safety Notice
As with all similar products, keep M&P-Flux out of reach of children. It is harmful if swallowed and may cause skin or severe eye irritation. If eye contact occurs, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice. Wash hands thoroughly after use or wear latex gloves for protection.
Always use M&P-Flux in a well-ventilated area or with an appropriate fume extraction system. These safety precautions apply to all soldering activities. M&P-Flux is ROHS Compliant and Lead-Free. By reducing soldering time, it also minimises exposure to tin-lead fumes.
