A simple, secure way to fold back the ends of a wire antenna for fine tuning, without immediately committing to another cut. Available in versions for Messi & Paoloni Dipoflex and RG-58.
Getting a wire antenna resonant often comes down to the last few centimetres. The Pro Antennas Fold Back Kit makes those final adjustments much easier by allowing excess wire or coax to be folded back neatly and held securely in place.
Instead of repeatedly trimming the antenna shorter, you can fold the end back, secure it with the clamp, check the antenna again and make further adjustments as required.
Messi & Paoloni Dipoflex
Clamp set designed for use with Messi & Paoloni Dipoflex antenna wire, making it easy to fold back and retain the end of a Dipoflex-based wire antenna during tuning.
RG-58
A dedicated version for RG-58, ideal where the radiating element or antenna construction uses RG-58 coax and a secure fold-back adjustment is required.

When tuning a wire antenna, cutting too much off is difficult to undo. Folding the end of the element back allows you to electrically shorten the antenna while keeping the excess material available if further adjustment is needed.
Once you've found the position that gives the result you want, the Fold Back Kit keeps the return section neat and securely retained.
Serrated Grip That Tightens Under Load
The male section of each clamp uses serrated gripping edges to help hold the cable firmly once assembled.
The geometry of the clamp also means that tension on the wire, whether caused by wind or another external pull, tightens the grip rather than work the cable loose. That's particularly useful on outdoor wire antennas where a conventional clamp can gradually slip under changing load.
Neat Strain Relief at Each End
Two MyDEL dogbone insulators are supplied, giving you a convenient anchor point for the folded section while helping keep the antenna installation tidy and mechanically supported.
End Caps Help Keep Water Out
Two end caps are included to cover the exposed ends of the cable and help prevent water ingress once the antenna has been adjusted.
Easy to Adjust Again Later
The kit includes two re-usable zip ties rather than conventional single-use cable ties. If you need to change the fold-back length later, simply release the tie, reposition the cable and secure it again.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
