Bigger Screen for Your Radio

15.6" Full HD External Monitor

Give your radio's spectrum scope, waterfall and menus room to breathe with a slim 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display – an ideal companion for the Icom IC-7300MK2 and other transceivers with external display output.

Modern transceivers can put a huge amount of information on screen, but viewing a spectrum scope or waterfall on the radio's built-in display isn't always ideal. This compact external monitor gives you a much larger, clearer view without taking over the shack.

With a 15.6-inch 1920 × 1080 IPS panel, Mini HDMI input and USB-C power, it's an easy way to add a dedicated radio display to your operating position while remaining slim enough for portable and club use.

PERFECT PARTNER FOR THE IC-7300MK2

Put the IC-7300MK2 on the Big Screen

The Icom IC-7300MK2 features a dedicated HDMI external display output, allowing operating information such as the frequency display, spectrum scope, waterfall and menus to be viewed on a larger monitor.

Connect the radio's HDMI output to the monitor's Mini HDMI input using the supplied cable, provide the monitor with a separate USB power source and you're ready to go.

NOT JUST FOR ICOM

Use with Yaesu, Kenwood & Other Radios

The monitor can also be used with suitable transceivers from Yaesu, Kenwood and other manufacturers that provide a compatible digital external display output.

Radios fitted with a DVI display connection require the appropriate Mini HDMI to DVI-D cable rather than the standard HDMI cable supplied with the monitor.

USING A DVI-EQUIPPED RADIO?

You'll Need Our Mini HDMI to DVI-D Cable

If you're connecting a Yaesu FT-710, FTDX10, FTDX101D/MP, Kenwood TS-890S or another suitable transceiver with a DVI display connection, add our Mini HDMI to DVI-D cable.

IMPORTANT – SEPARATE USB POWER REQUIRED

Do Not Power the Monitor from Your Transceiver's USB Port

The monitor is powered through USB-C, but it draws more current than the USB ports fitted to typical amateur-radio transceivers are designed to provide.

It should therefore be powered from a separate suitable USB power source, such as a mains USB adaptor. Both a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C cable are included with the monitor.

If you don't already have a suitable USB mains adaptor available in the shack, we can supply one separately.

MORE SCREEN, LESS SQUINTING

A More Comfortable Operating Position

A larger external display makes it easier to keep an eye on busy waterfalls, spectrum activity, menus and operating information from a normal seated position. It's particularly useful in a busy shack where the radio itself may sit above, below or to one side of your main operating position.

HOME OR PORTABLE

Made to Travel

The slim portable format also makes the monitor well suited to radio clubs, demonstrations, contest stations, Field Day and temporary operating positions. A protective travel case is included to help keep the screen protected between uses.

Please Note

The monitor has a native resolution of 1920 × 1080. The actual image resolution and information displayed are determined by the external display output of the connected transceiver.

Connection Requirements

Icom IC-7300MK2: Connect using the supplied Mini HDMI to HDMI cable.

DVI-equipped radios: A Mini HDMI to DVI-D cable is required and sold separately.

Power: Connect the monitor to a separate suitable USB power supply. Do not rely on the USB port fitted to the transceiver.
