TYT TM-D70W
A powerful VHF/UHF mobile transceiver with up to 75 W on 2 metres and 60 W on 70 centimetres, twin receivers, a detachable control head and built-in cross-band repeater.
The TYT TM-D70W combines serious RF output with the flexibility expected from a modern dual-band mobile radio. Two independent receivers allow genuine simultaneous monitoring, while the detachable front panel makes installation easy in cars, vans, 4×4s and fixed stations where the main radio body needs to be mounted out of sight.
200 UK repeaters already programmed
ML&S supplies the TM-D70W pre-programmed with 200 popular repeaters from across the UK, saving you the job of entering a complete repeater list before getting started. Frequencies, offsets and tone settings can subsequently be edited to suit your own requirements.
Built for 2 metres and 70 centimetres
For UK amateur use, the TM-D70W can be programmed for 144–146 MHz and 430–440 MHz, with freely programmable repeater offsets and comprehensive analogue tone support.
Genuine simultaneous monitoring
The TM-D70W incorporates two independent receivers, allowing both sides of the radio to receive simultaneously. This is especially useful when monitoring a local repeater alongside simplex activity, two repeaters at once or separate VHF and UHF frequencies.
Extend handheld coverage through your mobile station
The built-in cross-band repeater can receive on one amateur band and retransmit on the other. This allows a lower-powered handheld to make use of the TM-D70W's higher RF output and vehicle-mounted antenna when operating away from the vehicle.
Mount the radio where it fits
The front control panel separates from the main radio body, giving far more freedom when installing the TM-D70W into modern vehicles with limited dashboard space.
Information from both receivers
Each side of the display can show the selected frequency, channel or memory information, with independent volume and squelch controls for practical dual-receiver operation.
Air band, FM broadcast, VHF and UHF
The receiver extends well beyond the amateur bands, including AM civil aviation reception and wide-FM broadcast coverage.
Easy PC programming and firmware updates
The USB-C interface allows channels, repeaters and radio settings to be configured from a PC using the supplied programming cable. Firmware and CPS software are available directly from TYT.
Because ML&S supplies the radio with 200 popular UK repeaters already loaded, most operators can begin using the radio immediately and customise the channel plan later.

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
