The Icom HM-222H is a heavy-duty waterproof speaker microphone designed for demanding professional environments where clear receive audio and dependable operation are essential.
It combines an IP68-rated enclosure with a high-capacity speaker, dedicated emergency switch and robust 14-pin spring-type connector, making it well suited to outdoor, industrial, emergency-service, satellite PTT and marine applications.

The HM-222H uses a high-capacity speaker and a larger internal acoustic space to provide strong, clear receive audio.
With compatible Icom radios that support the HM-222H high-output function, audio output can reach 1500 mW, making the microphone particularly useful around machinery, vehicles, outdoor work sites and other noisy operating environments.
Emergency Control at Your Fingertips
A dedicated emergency switch is positioned on the microphone for quick access to the emergency function of supported transceivers, allowing the radio to remain clipped to a belt or carried elsewhere while essential controls remain accessible from the speaker microphone.
IP68 Dust-Tight & Waterproof Protection
The HM-222H is designed to maintain an IP68 level of environmental protection equivalent to the compatible radio it is connected to, making it suitable for use in rain, wet working environments and demanding outdoor applications.
Compatible Icom Radios
14-Pin Spring-Type Connector
The HM-222H uses Icom's 14-pin spring-type connection for a secure interface with compatible handheld radios. The coiled cable measures approximately 460 mm when curled, keeping excess cable under control while still allowing the microphone to be positioned conveniently.
The HM-222H can provide high-output receive audio when used with a transceiver that supports this function. Audio performance therefore depends on the specific radio connected to the microphone.

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
