Icom ID-52E PLUS

The Icom ID-52E PLUS takes the popular ID-52E D-STAR handheld and makes its connected features considerably easier to use. Terminal mode and Access Point mode can now connect wirelessly to a compatible Android device using Bluetooth, removing the need for a cable when operating through the RS-MS3A app.
Alongside its D-STAR capabilities, the ID-52E PLUS remains a fully featured VHF/UHF FM handheld with V/V, U/U and V/U dualwatch, including simultaneous DV/DV reception, an integrated GPS receiver, band scope with waterfall display and a vivid colour screen.
A new USB Type-C port provides charging and data connectivity, while IPX7 waterproof construction, microSD storage and powerful 750mW audio make the ID-52E PLUS equally useful at home or out in the field.

Worldwide Communication Through D-STAR
The ID-52E PLUS supports conventional FM alongside D-STAR simplex, repeater, regional and worldwide communication through the D-STAR Internet gateway.
Digital operation can carry voice together with data, text messages, GPS position information and pictures, giving the ID-52E PLUS considerably more capability than a conventional analogue handheld.
Connect Without a Cable
Using the RS-MS3A application on a compatible Android device, the ID-52E PLUS can connect over Bluetooth for Terminal mode and Access Point mode operation. This allows D-STAR communication through a cellular Internet connection even when a suitable D-STAR repeater is not locally accessible.
PC operation remains available using RS-MS3W and a USB connection. Terminal and Access Point modes require a compatible repeater network and suitable Internet connectivity.
Terminal Mode and Conventional RF Operation
Terminal mode no longer has to take over the entire radio. The ID-52E PLUS supports simultaneous Terminal mode and Simplex / Repeater operation, allowing you to quickly respond to conventional RF activity while remaining connected through Terminal mode.
Share Pictures Alongside D-STAR Voice
Pictures can be sent to other compatible users and received images viewed directly on the radio's colour display. Images from a smart device can also be transferred wirelessly to the ID-52E PLUS using compatible Icom picture software.
2.3-inch Colour Screen
The 320 × 280 pixel colour display provides excellent visibility, with selectable black or white backgrounds.
Waterfall Display
The waterfall shows both current activity and signal changes over time, providing a clearer overview of occupied and available frequencies.

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
