The built-in games include:
- Listen – copy random character strings and reveal the answer to check accuracy

- Send Random String – match a target string to progress
- Send Letters – enter your own text and have the trainer play it back in Morse
- ELIZA Interactive Mode – simulate a full CW QSO, exchanging name, QTH, RST, rig, antenna and WX
Flexible Hardware & Audio
- 3.5 mm key input – tip/ring wired for dot/dash paddle or straight key
- Configurable audio – choose tone and octave, set independent volumes for internal buzzer and 3.5 mm output
- Key output or audio output on rear jack – drive LEDs/keying circuits or headphones/speaker, selectable in the menu
- Right/left hand paddle setting – swap sides in software with a single tap
Wi-Fi Control & Web Interface
Setup is simple. On first power-up the Morse Trainer creates its own access point so you can connect from your phone, tablet or PC and enter your home Wi-Fi details. Once on your network, just browse to morsetrainer.local (or its IP address) to access the full web interface.
From the browser you can:
- Adjust WPM, Farnsworth spacing and ELIZA response delay
- Change key type (paddle/straight) and paddle handedness
- Configure audio output and volumes
- Update firmware over the air
- Reboot or factory reset if needed
Always Up To Date
The firmware is under active development, with detailed release notes and frequent enhancements – from new games and localisation, to improved straight-key handling, mDNS/Bonjour support and more. Updates are delivered securely over Wi-Fi, and an emergency recovery mode is available if an update is interrupted.
Power & Portability

- USB-C charging – keep operating while you charge
