Call 0345 2300 599The Grazioli HW10V is a high-performance half wave vertical antenna designed for serious 26 to 30MHz operation. Tunable across the 10m and 11m range, it offers a strong combination of efficiency, mechanical strength and high power handling in a more compact format than larger 5/8 wave ground plane antennas.
This base-fed 1/2 wave vertical is tuned by adjusting the whip length, with fine adjustment carried out at the base using a PTFE-insulated high voltage variable capacitor. This makes the HW10V straightforward to set up while allowing accurate tuning for your required part of the band.
The antenna is built from cold-drawn AW6063-T66 aluminium alloy tubing, chosen for its excellent strength and precision. The tube sections are manufactured with accurate diameters and wall thicknesses, giving a secure fit with minimal play. Stainless steel AISI-304 and AISI-316 hardware is used throughout for long-term outdoor durability and rust resistance.
The HW10V uses a high Q LC matching circuit, with an air-wound coil and a PTFE-insulated variable capacitor rated for very high voltage. This efficient matching system supports up to 3kW continuous power in all modes, while the DC grounded coil helps reduce static build-up and atmospheric noise.
A custom Grazioli 50 ohm UHF female connector is fitted, using PTFE insulation and a 24K gold-plated centre pin for excellent reliability. The supplied G-Max stainless steel mounting bracket provides a strong mechanical lock to the support mast, making the HW10V a robust choice for fixed station installations.

Construction Details
The HW10V uses precision AW6063-T66 aluminium alloy tube sections, with fibreglass, brass and PTFE components used in the matching and insulating areas. The vertical sections include a 42 x 2mm anchor tube, followed by 29 x 1.5mm, 25.5 x 1.5mm, 22 x 1.25mm, 19 x 1.25mm and 16 x 1.25mm tube sections. The white fibreglass insulator measures 38mm diameter with a 4.2mm wall thickness.
Installation Notes
The Grazioli HW10V should be installed on a suitable mast with clear space around the antenna. As with all high-power vertical antennas, use good quality coax, secure mechanical mounting and proper weatherproofing for the best long-term performance.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
