Our annual Open Day is back – with FREE entry, FREE parking, FREE hot drinks and snacks, and a FREE hot lunch, plus special offers, trade-ins and plenty of amateur-radio gear to browse.
There’s no admission charge, parking is completely free, and we’ll be keeping everyone fed and watered with free hot drinks, snacks and a complimentary hot lunch.
Unlike some others in the past, we’re not going to charge you for the privilege of coming in and buying things from us!
It’s That Time of Year Again
The annual ML&S Open Day returns on Saturday 28 November, and once again we’ll be throwing open the doors and welcoming customers from far and wide.
For the day, the shop takes on something of a rally atmosphere, with heaps of radio gear, special Open Day prices and plenty of stock from the biggest names in amateur radio, including Yaesu, Icom and Kenwood.
Whether you’re looking for your next radio, thinking about an upgrade or simply fancy spending the day talking radios with other amateurs, you’re very welcome to come along.
A LYNCHY OPEN DAY
Think of It as a Mini Amateur-Radio Rally
If you’ve never been to one of our Open Days before, the easiest way to describe it is as a mini rally from the good old days.
Have a chat with the ML&S team, meet other radio amateurs, browse plenty of equipment, discuss possible upgrades and enjoy lunch while you’re here. You certainly don’t have to buy anything – although naturally we won’t complain if something follows you home!

Bring Your Trade-Ins Along
If you’ve got radios or equipment sitting unused in the shack, bring them along with you. We’ll be offering an extra-special trade-in deal for Open Day, so it could be the perfect opportunity to turn some older equipment into your next radio.

There’s plenty of parking around Wessex House, with no yellow lines to worry about and no parking charge.
Outside the ULEZ
ML&S is outside London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone.
Staines Station
Staines is on the mainline from London Waterloo, and the station is only around a four-minute walk from the shop.
Doors open at 8:30am on Saturday 28 November. Come down for the deals, trade-ins, radio chat and a complimentary hot lunch.

It’s that time of year again! Our annual ML&S Open Day is back, and once again we’ll be throwing open the doors and welcoming customers from far and wide. The shop will be transformed into something resembling one of our famous rally stands, with heaps of gear piled high and prices slashed especially for the day. All the big names, including Yaesu, Icom, and Kenwood, will be well represented, with plenty of stock ready and waiting to find a new home!
As usual, we’ll also be keeping everyone fed and watered with FREE hot drinks and snacks throughout the day, plus a tasty hot lunch. What more could you want?
And how much does all this cost to get in? Absolutely NOTHING! Yes, admission is still completely FREE - we must be mad!
Got some trade-ins gathering dust in the shack? Bring them along! We’ll be offering something extra special on trade-ins for the day, so it could be the perfect excuse for an upgrade.
