Sangean MMR-88 Survivor DAB+
A compact rechargeable DAB+ and FM emergency radio with USB-C, solar and hand-crank charging, an adjustable LED flashlight and emergency USB power output.
Designed for camping, travel, power cuts and emergency kits, the Sangean MMR-88 Survivor DAB+ gives you several ways to stay informed when mains power is unavailable. Listen to DAB+ or FM radio and recharge the internal battery from USB-C, the integrated solar panel or the built-in hand-crank dynamo.
Three ways to power the radio
The rechargeable battery can be topped up normally through USB-C or kept going away from the mains using the solar panel or hand-crank generator.
Stay informed when the power is out
The MMR-88 Survivor DAB+ provides both digital DAB+ and traditional FM reception, making it a useful source of news, weather and local information during a power cut as well as a practical everyday portable radio.
Four lighting modes for everyday or emergency use
The adjustable triple-LED flashlight gives you useful illumination around camp, in the car or during a power cut, while flashing and SOS modes can be used to attract attention in an emergency.
5 V / 0.3 A USB-A output
The USB-A socket can provide emergency power to smaller USB devices when required.
Stereo earphone output
Listen through the built-in speaker or connect compatible stereo earphones when you want to keep the radio quiet.
Compact enough to take almost anywhere
At approximately 152 × 85 × 69 mm and only 377 g, the MMR-88 is significantly more compact than the larger MMR-99, making it especially well suited to hiking packs, emergency grab bags, vehicles and travel.
The 5 V / 0.3 A USB output is intended as an emergency power source rather than a fast charger. Modern smartphones may charge very slowly or may not charge reliably depending on the device, cable and available battery capacity.

If you have any equipment that needs to be returned to Martin Lynch & Sons, please fill out the form below:
Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
