Messi & Paoloni ULTRAFLEX 7 /.287" LSZH
The low-smoke zero-halogen version of M&P's highly flexible 7.3mm low-loss coaxial cable, supplied as a complete 2,000 metre drum for professional and large-scale installations.
This product is supplied as a 2,000 metre drum, which is the manufacturer's minimum order quantity for ULTRAFLEX 7 LSZH.
If you require a different cable length, please contact ML&S before ordering. Alternative lengths can be discussed, but the total order must be at least 2,000 metres.
This is a made-to-order product. Once the order has been placed with Messi & Paoloni it cannot be cancelled.
Due to the size and weight of a 2km drum, this product cannot be sent using our normal automated parcel delivery services.
For this reason, Collect in store will be the only delivery option displayed at checkout.
This does not mean the drum must be collected from us. If delivery is required, please contact us and we will provide a personalised freight quotation for delivery to your address.
7.3mm Flexible Coax for LSZH-Specified Installations
ULTRAFLEX 7 LSZH retains the compact dimensions, exceptional flexibility and low attenuation of standard ULTRAFLEX 7 while replacing the conventional PVC jacket with a UV-resistant black low-smoke zero-halogen sheath.
Messi & Paoloni ULTRAFLEX 7 /.287" LSZH is designed for installations that require the RF performance and handling characteristics of ULTRAFLEX 7 together with an LSZH outer sheath.
The cable remains only 7.3mm in overall diameter while providing substantially lower loss than smaller conventional cables such as RG-8X and performance that M&P positions above conventional RG213/U and RG8.
Its stranded copper centre conductor, 100% copper foil screen and M&P reactive copper braid produce a cable that remains unusually flexible for its RF performance, making it particularly useful for large professional installations, cable trays, equipment spaces and complex installation routes.
Supplied as a complete 2km drum to meet M&P's minimum order requirement.

A Different Outer Sheath for Installation Requirements
Standard ULTRAFLEX 7 uses a flexible PVC outer jacket. This LSZH version replaces that outer layer with a UV-resistant black low-smoke zero-halogen sheath.
LSZH cable is intended for applications where the cable specification calls for reduced smoke and halogen emissions from the jacket material in the event of fire.
M&P lists ULTRAFLEX 7 LSZH as manufactured in compliance with IEC 60332-1-2 and the Construction Products Regulation requirements of EN50575:2014, with ULTRAFLEX 7 Declaration of Performance number MP0090.
The Familiar ULTRAFLEX 7 Loss Figures
The LSZH version retains the same published attenuation figures as ULTRAFLEX 7. Lower dB figures mean less transmitted and received signal is lost in the feeder.
M&P specifically positions ULTRAFLEX 7 as outperforming conventional RG213/U and RG8 despite its much smaller 7.3mm outside diameter.
Compared with typical RG-8X, ULTRAFLEX 7 offers a substantial reduction in attenuation, particularly as operating frequency or feeder length increases.
19-Strand Copper Centre Conductor
The centre conductor is manufactured from 19 individual 0.38mm copper wires, producing an overall conductor diameter of approximately 1.9mm.
This stranded construction contributes to the flexibility that distinguishes ULTRAFLEX 7 from conventional solid-centre low-loss cables.
M&P specifies a minimum bend radius of 68mm for repeated bending and 34mm for a single bend or choke.
Reactive Copper Braid & 100% Foil Screen
ULTRAFLEX 7 LSZH uses a 144-wire copper reactive braid with approximately 83% coverage, manufactured using M&P's 24-spool process.
M&P describes this arrangement as providing approximately 50% more braid crossover points than a conventional 16-spool construction, helping the braid react to twisting and bending in a spring-like manner.
Beneath the braid is a 100% copper foil first screen with an applied polyethylene layer designed to resist cracking during short-radius bends.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
