Call 0345 2300 599The SO9I HamCore 6x2 Switch is a networked antenna switch designed for operating 2 transceivers with up to 6 shared antennas.
It is ideal for SO2R and Multi-Operator station setups, where two radios need to access the same antenna system safely and efficiently. Each station has its own independent antenna selection, while built-in protection helps prevent one radio from accidentally taking over an antenna already in use by the other.
Unlike a standard manual antenna switch, HamCore does not require a separate controller. Simply connect power, connect HamCore to your network, configure your antennas, and control the switch from a web browser.

Easy Network Setup
HamCore gives you three connection options, allowing it to suit different station layouts.

Browser-Based Control
HamCore can be controlled from any modern web browser, with no dedicated application required.
This allows control from a Windows PC, MacBook, iPhone, Android phone, Linux computer, tablet, or smartphone. There are no additional drivers or special control cables required for normal network operation.
Two-Radio Operation
The HamCore 6x2 is designed for two transceivers operating with a shared antenna system.
Each radio can select from the available antennas, while the switch protects against both radios trying to use the same antenna at the same time. This makes it particularly useful for SO2R and Multi-Operator stations where clear and reliable antenna allocation is essential.
Antenna Hijacking Protection
Each station has protection against accidental antenna hijacking by the other radio.
If one radio is already using an antenna, the other radio cannot simply take it over. This helps protect your equipment and keeps operation predictable, especially in busy contest or multi-operator environments.
Automatic Antenna Selection
Each antenna can be assigned a dedicated name and linked to specific bands. This allows HamCore to automatically choose the correct antenna when the operating frequency or band changes.
Receiving antennas can also be included in the configuration, allowing separate receive and transmit antenna setups where required.
TX and RX Antenna Operation
HamCore supports separate TX antenna and RX antenna configuration.
This is useful for stations that use one antenna for transmitting and another for receiving. Reception can take place on a chosen receive antenna, while the system automatically switches to the selected transmit antenna when the transmitter is keyed.
Integration
HamCore is designed for automated station operation and can work with:
- FlexRadio
- N1MM+
- DXLog
This allows the switch to acquire operating frequency information and use it for automatic antenna selection.
Protection Against Hot Switching
HamCore includes protection against hot switching. It can receive the PTT signal wirelessly from a FlexRadio system or via RCA connection from a transceiver.
This safeguard helps prevent the antenna switch from changing antenna while RF is being transmitted.
Antenna Grounding
Unused antenna ports are automatically grounded. This helps reduce static build-up and provides an additional layer of protection for your station installation.
As with all antenna systems, this should not be considered a replacement for a properly designed grounding and lightning protection system.

Important Note
This listing is for the SO9I HamCore 6x2 Networked Antenna Switch only. Coaxial cables, antennas, network cable, power supply, grounding accessories, and other station equipment are not included unless stated otherwise.
A separate 6x2 controller is not required for HamCore operation.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
