The TYT TH-9800 PLUS is a powerful quad-band amateur mobile radio covering 10 metres, 6 metres, 2 metres and 70 centimetres in one compact unit.

Designed for European band operation, the TH-9800 transmits on 28.0 to 29.7 MHz, 50 to 54 MHz, 144 to 146 MHz and 430 to 440 MHz. Receive coverage is even broader, allowing monitoring across 28.0 to 29.7 MHz, 50 to 54 MHz, 108 to 180 MHz and 320 to 480 MHz.

With up to 50 watts output on 10m, 6m and 2m, and up to 35 watts on 70cm, the TH-9800 PLUS provides strong performance for mobile and base station use. Multiple power levels are selectable, 50W, 20W, 10W and 5W, enabling you to match output to operating conditions.

The radio features twin receive capability, allowing simultaneous monitoring of two frequencies. A large, clear display and intuitive controls make it easy to manage its extensive functionality, including 809 memory channels and fully programmable repeater offsets.

Operating modes include FM and NFM on transmit, with AM, FM and NFM available on receive. Built in CTCSS and DCS, DTMF with ANI, 2 tone and 5 tone selective calling, plus a voice scrambler, provide flexibility for both amateur and private network use.

Built around a double conversion superheterodyne receiver design, the TH-9800 delivers strong sensitivity of less than 0.2 microvolts for reliable weak signal reception. Powered from a standard 13.8V DC supply, it is well suited to vehicle installation or fixed station use.

Compact at just 140 x 42 x 168 mm and weighing approximately 1 kg, the TYT TH-9800 offers true quad band capability in a practical mobile format.

The TYT TH-9800 is an excellent choice for operators who want multi-band flexibility, strong output power and dual receive capability in a single compact mobile transceiver.
