The FTX-1 covers a wide frequency range:
30kHz–174MHz and 400MHz–470MHz – covering SWL, FM broadcast, and Air-band.

The FTX-1 Field supports SSB, CW, AM, FM, and C4FM digital modes, offering true versatility whether you're operating from home, on the move, or in remote locations. Expect up to 9 hours of HF SSB and 8 hours of V/UHF FM operation using the supplied battery (based on a 6-6-48 duty cycle). Charging is easy via USB Type-C PD (45W or greater, 15V 2A).

FTX-1 Field / FTX-1 optima

1. Turn the transceiver OFF.
2. Press and hold in the [MAG (BAND] and [M> V (MT)] buttons simultaneously, while turning the transceiver ON.
3. When the display backlight comes on, release the IMAG BAND] and [M- V (MT] buttons.
   The transceiver will re-start automatically. Once restarted the change of 5 MHz frequency configuration to "C2 (UK)" is successfully completed.
4. To restore 5 MHz frequency configuration to the factory default (B2
   (EU)), perform the same procedures above.

The current setting can be displayed by the following operation.

Press and hold the [FUNC] knob → touch [EXTENSION SETTING] →

touch [SOFT VERSION].
